Regular Season Round 1: Partizan - Krka 84-78

Partizan used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Novo Mesto 84-78 on Monday night. Partizan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Vanja Marinkovic (198-1997) nailed 15 points for the winning side and forward Aleksej Pokusevski (213-2001) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds. American Victor Bailey Jr (193-1998, college: GMU) came up with 29 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Niko Bacvic (191-1997) added 8 points, 8 assists and 4 steals respectively for Krka in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan will meet Split on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Krka will play against Cluj Napoca and hope to win that game.
